1. Concept status
Every rendered design is a concept visualization for sales and decision support. It may help compare products, materials and project directions, but it does not establish measurements, setbacks, utilities, drainage, structural design, code compliance, permits, manufacturer installation requirements or final cost.
2. Contractor review duty
Before sharing a visual or quote, the contractor must confirm that:
- The property and target work area are correct.
- The selected product, material, features and visible placement match the intended proposal.
- The scope, price, taxes, deposit, terms and disclaimer are accurate.
- The concept is feasible enough to discuss and is not represented as final engineering or a permit set.
3. Simulated ground views
A ground perspective rendered from an aerial, satellite or photorealistic 3D source reconstructs a viewpoint that was not captured by a camera at that spot. Markatit labels that output Rendered perspective and identifies it as not an actual photograph. The reconstruction may infer occluded details and must not be used as evidence of site conditions.
4. Ordinary design edits
A visual created directly on an uploaded ground photograph still contains rendered project elements. The untouched property photograph is the source; the proposed pool, spa, deck, landscaping or related work is a concept overlay or rendered edit. Before/after labels must distinguish those roles.
5. Source rights and customer consent
The contractor must have permission to upload and process customer/property images and to share the resulting quote. Do not upload private interior content, people, license plates, credentials or sensitive information that is unnecessary for the project. Map-derived imagery remains subject to provider licensing and attribution.
6. Multiple perspectives
Design-series and product-reference controls aim to keep a concept consistent across views, but rendering systems can drift. The contractor must compare perspectives for product geometry, spa position, finish, coping, deck, house, fence and tree consistency. A materially inconsistent set should be rendered again or submitted for quality review before customer use.
7. No professional-service substitution
Markatit is not an architect, engineer, surveyor, permit authority, licensed pool contractor or code official. Use qualified professionals and authoritative measurements for final design, safety, engineering, permitting and construction decisions.
